Do I need a credit card to reserve my appointment?

Yes. Due to the individualized nature of services we offer, our service providers prepare treatment rooms and services in advance for each client.  If you are unable to keep your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance prior to your scheduled appointment.  We reserve the right to charge for appointments not cancelled within this period.   We do our best to provide a confirmation call the business day before your scheduled appointment.  These calls are a courtesy, and not receiving a call does not excuse an absence by a client.

Should massage therapy be used as a substitute for medical intervention?

No. Although massage therapy is a treatment that may benefit the individual in many different ways, we make no claim that massage therapy or any other treatment should be a substitute for medical advise or intervention. We also make no claim as to the effectiveness of massage therapy for the treatment of any medical condition. Also, if you are running a fever, having flu or cold-like symptoms, please know that it is not advised that you receive massage therapy, so you will need to reschedule your appointment.

fee will be charged when the expired gift card is used.

I am currently pregnant. Can I receive a massage?

Will I receive a confirmation call?

We do our best to provide a confirmation call the business day before your scheduled appointment.  These calls are a courtesy, and not receiving a call does not excuse an absence by a client.

What happens if I am running late to my appointment?

Your appointment time is especially reserved for you. Late arrivals may require us to shorten the length of your massage so as to not inconvenience others.

Are your massage therapists licensed and insured?

Yes. All of our Certified Massage Therapists and Body Practitioners are licensed and insured.

Can I bring my child to my appointment?

Due to our liability insurance and office policy children are not permitted in the massage rooms during a massage, nor are they allowed to remain in the restroom or reception area unsupervised by a parent or guardian.

What should I wear to my massage therapy appointment?

Your attire to and from your appointment can be casual; however, attire does not matter as you will disrobe entirely or to your briefs and be covered by a sheet during the massage.

What should I expect during the massage?

You will complete a confidential medical history form at your first visit. Your therapist will review this with you and assist you with determining the type of massage and your goals for the session. You will then be shown the massage therapy room and instructed on how to disrobe and lay on the table once the therapist has left the room. While lying on the table, you will be covered at all times except for the body part being massaged. Tables are heated, lighting is dim, and relaxation music is played to aid in the total relaxation of the body, mind and spirit. Please inform your therapist immediately if the pressure is too much or too little or if you have any other concerns. Otherwise, the therapist will remain silent during the massage, unless you prefer conversation.  After your session, your therapist will meet with you with water and discuss any further concerns.

How do I know which massage would be best for me?

The therapist will consult with you about your goals for the session and likes/dislikes regarding massage at each visit in order to determine which techniques to use.

What if I am cold or the massage therapist is not using enough pressure?

Let your therapist know of your concerns. They want you to communicate any concerns that you have immediately so that they may be corrected for a pleasurable experience. Remember this hour is all about you. We want to make you happy!

May I choose my massage therapist?

Yes. However, you may have to wait a little longer for an appointment by not taking the therapist that is available.

What parts of my body will be massaged?

A typical full-body session will include work on your back, arms, legs, feet, hands, head, neck, shoulders, and face.

How will I feel after the massage or bodywork session?

Most people feel very relaxed. Some experience freedom from long-term aches and pains developed from tension or repetitive activity. After an initial period of feeling slowed down, people often experience increased energy, heightened awareness, and greater productivity which can last for days. Since toxins are released from your soft tissues during a massage, it is recommended you drink plenty of water and soak in a epsom salt bath following your massage.

Is it mandatory to leave gratuity for my massage therapist?

No. Gratuities are greatly appreciated, yet never expected.
If you would like to leave a gratuity in cash, please note that we do not keep a large sum of money in our drawer. Therefore, we are unable to break large bills.
